Steve Jobs in NYC to demo iPad to Execs
Feb 6, 2010 at 9:02
Rumors are circulating that Apple CEO Steve Jobs apparently is in New York City to meet with executives at The New York Times, Time Magazine and The Wall Street Journal. It seems the purpose of these visits is to discuss iPad as publishing platform for newspapers and magazines (which would make sense).
Silicon Alley Insider reports:
We're reliably informed that Jobs showed up for an iPad show and tell in the Times newsroom. The meeting was strictly off the record, though a person present indicated Jobs is preparing to gear up the iPad for magazines and newspapers, having put books first on his list of priorities.
Bring on the iNewspapers and iMagazines stores we say!!

Newspapers & Magazines would really be the cherry on top for the iPad. I can't really see myself using the iPad as a book reader (except reference/tutorial books), but I certainly can for newspapers and magazines.
I totally agree newspapers and magazines would be the 'killer app' for me.
